Male Talk: A 2-hour prevention intervention for young men of color, offered in Brattleboro in private residences. Through games, video clips and discussion, this intervention will address: · Understanding how HIV is transmitted · Strategies for reducing sexual transmission of HIV · Communication skills for relationships, including condom negotiation · Demonstration of correct condom, dental dam, female condom use.

Men’s Program: An HIV prevention program for gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men. The Men's Program works to build a community of men who support each other in leading healthy, satisfying lives. Program components include: · A monthly newsletter, mailed or available on-line at www.mensprogram.org · A wide array of social events · Small group workshops on connecting with other men · Safer sex information and supplies · Counseling and testing services
The Women’s Program: A program aimed at preventing the spread of HIV among heterosexual women by increasing condom use, promoting positive behavior change and building a network to help change community norms. · Peer Outreach Network: Trained peer educators conduct outreach in communities and at events · Role Model Stories: Printed stories from women and men about their success in adopting safer sex behaviors · Safe Talk: Trained facilitators lead small group gatherings of women to learn about HIV prevention using activities that are fun and educational. · Community Network: By involving businesses, agencies, and organizations, we strive to raise awareness of HIV and encourage safer sex behavior. · Staged Based Encounters: Outreach done in the community by trained women asking specific questions about condom use aimed to change behavior towards safer sex. · Free & anonymous HIV counseling and (oral) testing |
